Time Flies

 

 Well, as you know, time flies.  I just missed an anniversary. 

 In February of 2011 I began this blog.  Making this blog

12 years old.  Prior to this blog, I did an email newsletter

that was emailed through Yahoo groups called Doll College

 that I began October 11, 2001.  I switched to the

blog format so pictures could be included.

Many changes have occured in my life and in the world.

 Some years I posted   a lot, and others, not so much.

 It has been a labor of love.  So between the newsletter

and this blog it is a total of 22 years.

I just found a dress I have been looking for.

I was searching for a picture of a doll that I was not sure what she looked like

while writing an article for this blog. 

 Where  else to look but ebay.  Looking through the Crissy collection, I spotted a dress 

on a fixer up Crissy, that was an original Ideal Toni dress.  Yes it was the dress my Toni

was wearing when a nine year girl, me, received my first Toni for Christmas. I had only

seen the dress on a mint in box Toni for a high price before.  The dress is in fair condition with

light stains.  I can't  wait to receive it.  I am going to restore the ratty Crissy and  perhaps

sell her.  Can't wait to put the dress on Toni.
